University of Worcester graduates continue to enjoy great employability prospects, with 15 out of 16 currently in work or continuing to study within six months of graduating. In 2013, the Guardian awarded Worcester with the contribution to the local community award in recognition of the Hive, the UK’s first public and university library.
Worcester continues to excel in the subjects of Nursing and Midwivery, Psychology, Teacher Education and Sports Science, which recently benefitted from a newly opened 2,000-seat stadium.
International and EU students will benefit from airport pick-ups, induction seminars, careers advice, social activities and much more during their first few weeks at Worcester. The help won’t end once enrolled though, and the International Student Office will continue to assist and support with any issues or advice which needs addressing.
All first year undergraduates are guaranteed accommodation in Halls of Residence provided they meet the supplied deadline. Over 1,000 beds are available and are self catered with internet access. The bulk of accommodation is on campus and the friendly Accommodation Team are always on hand to provide advice and support throughout your stay.
The University is located in central Worcester, just a short walk from the train and bus stations. The city is one of the UK’s oldest, steeped in history and culture.
