In partnership with INTO, Newcastle offers free in-sessional language support throughout the year, as well as pre-sessional courses.

Accommodation for international students is guaranteed for the first year of study. Newcastle University has almost 4,000 places available, about 25% of which are catered. Facilities vary, with en suite and standard rooms available, as well as larger single rooms and studio apartments. Self-catered rooms are generally arranged in flats with a shared kitchen. The Accommodation Service offers free advice for students looking to find private rented accommodation within Newcastle.
